Changes in IBPS PO and Clerical Exams

IBPS Probationary Officer and Clerical Grade - Common Written Exam (CWE)

Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) has made certain changes to the Common Written Examination (CWE) process for candidates applying for jobs in public sector banks in Probationary Officer, Management Trainee, and Clerical Grades.

The CWE online exam is a two-tier process – preliminary exam and main exam. Candidates will first appear for the preliminary exam. Successful candidates will be short-listed for the next stage of main exam. Candidates who are shortlisted from the main exam results, are then called for Common Interview.

Prelim Examination – Total composite time of 1 hour

English Language – 30 questions for 30 marks
Quantitative Aptitude – 35 questions for 35 marks
Reasoning Ability – 35 questions for 35 marks

Main Examination – Total composite time of 2 hours

Reasoning – 50 questions for 50 marks
English Language – 40 questions for 40 marks
Quantitative Aptitude – 50 questions for 50 marks
General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) – 40 questions for 40 marks
Computer Knowledge – 20 questions for 20 marks

NMAT 2016 is an entrance exam for admission to full time MBA – Mumbai, PGDM – Bengaluru, and PGDM – Hyderabad courses for academic year starting June 2016.

NMAT 2016 exam period: 6^th October 2015 to 19^th December 2015

Test Structure of NMAT 2016:

No negative marking
Objective type multiple choice questions
Total – 120 questions for 120 minutes

Language Skills (32 questions – 22 minutes)
Quantitative Skills (48 questions – 60 minutes)
Logical Reasoning (40 questions – 38 minutes)
