GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test)

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) is a computer adaptive test that is part of the admission criteria for most graduate programs in business and management institutes. 

The GMAT exam consists of four main sections:
  • Analytical Writing Assessment: analysis of an argument
  • Integrated Reasoning: multi source reasoning, graphics interpretations, two-part analysis, table analysis
  • Quantitative: data sufficiency, problem solving
  • Verbal: reading comprehension, critical reasoning, sentence correction

  • The total score for GMAT ranges from 200 to 800 and is based on performance on the quantitative and verbal sections together.
  • Performance on the AWA and IR sections do not count toward the total score, and are scored separately.
  • The scores are valid for 5 years.
